AFP 2018: 7 Things To Get Excited About in New Orleans
The world’s biggest conference for professional fundraisers is headed to New Orleans! April will mark the 2018 International Fundraisers Conference, or AFP 2018, presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. And major things are in store, from powerful opening and closing keynote addresses to panel discussions and breakout sessions that are sure to bring about new ideas and new connections. Pre Conference Workshops
The AFP 2018 Pre-Conference workshops will be a great way to get build on previous experience, gain new information and get refreshed on some of the most important fundraising issues. Moderated by Ellen Lee, director of the Office of Community Development for the city of New Orleans and include some true experts in their field when it comes to preparation and resilient strategies.

With so much networking, catching up with old friends and colleagues and meeting many new people, AFP 2018 is sure to be a hotbed of creative thinking in fundraising. Closing Keynote Speaker: Bryan Stevenson
As founder and Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, AL, Stevenson’s work in fighting poverty and racial discrimination is known the world over. Stevenson has been featured on at TED, at the 2017 Obama Foundation Summit, on Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul Sunday, and on CBS This Morning.He will close out AFP 2018 on an educational and inspirational note.
