About This Campaign

My name is Melanie Peters. I am a full time Volunteer at VA Mather hospital, and McClellan AFB. I joined forces with Stop Soldier Suicide, and started my own campaign and site here to raise money and awareness for this cause, that is very close to my heart. 22 a day is 22 too many, just because a soldier physically comes home does not mean they are mentally home, they need our support and care, however we can give it. Please join me in our efforts to raise awareness about this TRAGIC problem. We lose more soldiers to suicide then we do at war, this problem needs to be noticed. Please help me by raising awareness, do your part to shed light on an issue overlooked by many. The only people willing to die for you; Jesus Christ and the Veteran.
Stop Soldier Suicide

Campaign to Support Stop Soldier Suicide

Help us end Veteran suicide.

Stop Soldier Suicide is the first national Veteran-founded and led non-profit relentlessly dedicated to the epidemic of - and cure for - suicide among Service Members.

We understand the problems and issues of Military suicide are too complex for a single answer. Our skilled Case Managers find the right solution for each person.

And it's not a single conversation. We follow up over a two year period help as long as is needed.

Our evidenced-based approach makes us truly unique.

And our mission is simple:

We offer empowerment to those who have served and are serving still.
