Food Bank of Iowa - the Road to a Brighter Tomorrow
About This Campaign
Before the COVID-19 crisis, Food Bank of Iowa distributed over 5,000 BackPack sacks each week and supplied over 100 school pantries with food to feed families in need. Many congregate meal sites have shuttered leaving seniors on fixed incomes without consistent access to food. And families will continue to have to make hard decisions as they try and get back on their feet.
Food Bank of Iowa will continue working hard to safely get food to our friends and neighbors in need. Unfortunately, we know the need for our services will continue to grow as Iowans get back to work, and there is a long road ahead.
We are grateful for your donations. Your support ensures Food Bank of Iowa can continue providing quality, nutritious food to Iowans in need – especially during these challenging times.
Thank you for continuing to help us help others.
Campaign to Support Food Bank of Iowa
At the Food Bank of Iowa, we’re dedicated to ending hunger in Iowa—for each one of the 175,000 children, families, and seniors we serve. With your help, we can.
$0.98 cents of every dollar donated to Food Bank of Iowa supports our food distribution programs. By keeping administrative services expenses (1.45%) low, we can provide 4 meals for every dollar contributed to Food Bank of Iowa.
Together, we can solve hunger.
Dear Corteva Colleagues, We established this page to collect donations in support of our colleague, Daria Schmidt, who lost her son, Henry Harris on July 27. The Iowa Food Bank was Henry's choice - in fact when he received his COVID check, he donated it their way.
