About This Campaign

On February 8, we will kick off our strategic planning process with the Habitat Café.

Join us for a morning of coffee and conversation about Habitat, our role in the community and how we can best realize our shared vision of a region where everyone has a decent place to live.

Using the World Café method, we will engage each other in conversation about Habitat:  who we are, what we do, how we do it and where to go from here. The World Café is more than a method, a process, or technique – it’s a way of thinking and being together sourced in a philosophy of conversational leadership.

Our goal is to create a community-supported strategic plan that will guide Habitat's work in the community over the next several years. Our plan will be rooted in community values and priorities and will provide a road map for sustainable, high-impact growth.

We want to hear from you! Whether you are a Habitat volunteer, supporter, homeowner, partner or neighbor... your voice is important. If you are asking yourself, "Am I the right person to attend this event?", the answer is "YES!"

Habitat for Humanity Capital District

Campaign to Support Habitat for Humanity Capital District

Our vision is simple: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

People in our community and all over the world partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With our help, Habitat homeowners achieve strength, stability and self-reliance they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.
