Michael, Michelle and Family Home Dedication!

Michael, Michelle and Family Home Dedication!

About This Campaign

Michael and Michelle went through Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County’s Spring 2014 partner family selection cohort. Michelle says that there were a lot of families at the application session and she and her family feel lucky and are excited to have been chosen.

To have been chosen as a partner family is a big deal for Michael and Michelle, because they have a growing family of four children and one on the way! The family was in need of more space. They currently reside in a small home, and aren’t able to sit down at the same table to have family dinner. This used to be an important time to come together as a family, discuss their day, and talk about upcoming family events.

Mason, the youngest, has special needs and has trouble getting around, so the family also needed a larger lot for a home that can accommodate a handicap-accessible floorplan. Michelle and Michael are eager to have a space large enough for the family and easier for Mason to navigate.

We can’t wait for this special family to be in their home, and we’re looking forward to seeing you!

Campaign to Support Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County

Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County’s mission is to partner with low-income, hardworking families in Hamilton County under the conviction that every person and family deserves a simple, decent, and affordable place to live. Habitat homeowners pay interest-free, no-profit mortgages, which are used to build more Habitat houses. Because houses are principally built with volunteer labor, mortgage payments are affordable for low-income partners.
