Rebuilding After a Fire logo
Due to a fire in one of our Supportive Housing locations, several women have lost their homes. With the amount of smoke and water damage, they have lost the majority of their belongings as well.

We are reaching out to the community to help us raise $5000 that will go directly towards helping these women replace damaged items including beds, mattresses, couches, tables, chairs, clothing, etc... Currently, most of these women are staying with us at our Shelter and have no specified date for when they can return, as their apartments will need to be completely torn down and reconstructed.

Please help us provide these women with the support they need as they work towards rebuilding their lives all over again, once again.

Since 1965, Street Haven has provided services to women in need in the downtown Toronto area. Our programs include Supportive Housing, Addiction Services, a Learning Centre and the city's oldest women's only Emergency Shelter. We believe that all women deserve, along with the physical necessities of life, to be treated with dignity and to be given the tools and opportunities to achieve their goals.
