About This Campaign

Bowl For Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters' signature fundraiser – in 2017 we celebrate our 30th anniversary of this annual bowling extravaganza! Each year over 1,500 people and 60 sponsors across the city come together to have fun and raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters as we create life-changing friendships for kids in need. Every dollar you raise stays right here in our city to help create a brighter future for our littles!

When a Little grows up, he becomes the strong role model

When Al met his Little Brother, McKee was a bubbly, fun 8-year-old whose enthusiasm was infectious. His life was just taking shape, and he had plenty of obstacles to overcome and no consistent male role models. “So much has changed, yet so much remains the same,” Al says. “We still enjoy similar tastes in music. We still like to be silly—singing and dancing in the car. If our singing and dancing can annoy my boys, then it is even more rewarding.”
