Dining out For Life
About This Event
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by social media and collaboration. It is the day to kick off the giving season. Nonprofits around the world participate to raise awareness, generate support and demonstrate how philanthropy can transform our communities.
At Habitat for Humanity Capital District, we believe everyone deserves a decent place to live. Our mission is to build homes in partnership with people who are in need of better housing. A home is the start of building a future. It is a place to learn and a place to grow. A home is a solid foundation for potential, a stronger education, a healthier life, more prosperous opportunities and a stable household. We build homes that are decent, safe, and affordable thanks to supporters like you.
Today, we are kicking off the giving season. Our board has agreed to match every dollar donated if we can raise $5,000! This means when you give on #GivingTuesday your gift can be DOUBLED! Help us raise money so we can help build more homes for families in need. Your gift will go towards our upcoming projects in Sheridan Hollow, Lark Street and North Central Troy!
