Build-A-Bash 2017

About This Event

The Build-A-Bash will celebrate it’s 5th anniversary on September 28th and we are looking forward to making it even bigger and better this year! Once again we will return to the Schenectady Armory for an incredible and unique evening of food, competition, and entertainment done as only Habitat can. We are pleased to announce that Mallozzi’s is our Major Food & Beverage Sponsor so you know the food alone will be amazing. We also have the return of the Tug of War Challenge which will include more teams and double elimination, as well as fan favorite, Hammerschlagen. Jack Aernecke will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Ann Parillo as Honorary Chair.

Come join us and Play it Forward as we raise funds for our current building projects and continue our mission of providing decent, affordable housing for hard-working families in Schenectady County.

Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County, Inc.

Event to Support Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County, Inc.

Habitat for Humanity of Schenectady County is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Schenectady Habitat is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. Established in 1993, Schenectady Habitat serves Schenectady County in New York State’s Capital Region. The organization is dedicated to making quality, affordable housing solutions available to low-income families. To date, more than 50 houses have been constructed and sold, in addition to 100+ other housing units repaired, for a total of more than 140 families served in Schenectady County.
