Help Us Buy Holiday Gifts for Our Foster Children
About This Campaign
**WE'VE RAISED $1,260 OF OUR $5,000 GOAL SO FAR VIA OFFLINE DONATIONS, WHICH IS REFLECTED IN OUR NEW GOAL. THANK YOU!** You remember those days. Waking up earlier than everyone in the house, grabbing your parents' hands and racing to the tree to see which gift you wanted to open first. It was truly the most wonderful time of the year! It is difficult to imagine, but not everyone wakes up to a Christmas surrounded by family and beautiful gifts. At TuTTie’s Place, we are beginning to plan for the upcoming Christmas holiday season. Our annual goal is to provide gifts and needed items to our foster children. This year, we hope to raise at least $5,000. With this money, your contribution will enable us to purchase food, clothing, shoes, bedding, toiletries, toys, games, and all of the niceties kids expect on Christmas Day. So, we’re really hoping you will help. We’re currently collecting donations of $100 or more for our Christmas holiday goal and this campaign is to request your support. By making a donation, you’d be making a tax-deductible contribution that will help us provide love, support, and a traditional holiday experience to children in our Foster Care program. Usually, our kids are not able to spend the holidays with their biological families. Your generosity will have a great impact on our kids, as well as our community. Your gift will change lives. Can you imagine how it feels to be away from home and family on Christmas? Also, can you imagine how it feels when you are not remembered with a gift on Christmas Day? This could be very traumatic. So, please help us to provide a meaningful Holiday to kids in our care. Thank you for your consideration and best wishes!

Campaign to Support TuTTie's Place
We are parents, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters who remain inspired by the power of community and family. Together, with the many youth we share our lives with, we are TuTTie’s Place.
TuTTie’s Place is a community-based group foster care model. Most unique about us is our desire to work with young men amid the environment in which they currently live and will likely return even if they successfully graduate from the program.
By meeting and teaching children where they are, the lessons and behaviors we encourage are easily translated into real life dynamics, rather than just theory. When our boys learn how to make good decisions in the midst of a bad environment, personal responsibility becomes an acquired skill, not merely a phrase.
We know good life skills are not learned overnight. Along with providing a nurturing family environment, ideal for therapeutic and educational needs, we also provide a variety of artistic and recreational outlets. We celebrate birthdays together and other milestones, participate as active partners in our children’s schooling, provide opportunities for community service and encourage the boys to have pets.
We want our boys to leave TuTTie’s Place being well-rounded and able to become contributors to their communities. To learn more about TuTTies’s Place, please visit our website: www.tuttiesplace.org.
