On Monday, May 21st, 2018, Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind (CLB) will host its Shot in the Dark Golf and Dinner Classic at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland.
Play in the golf tournament and join us for a fun-filled afternoon featuring:
• A BBQ lunch featuring local celebrities/dignitaries, like ABC7's Eileen Whelan and the Nationals' Bob Carpenter• The opportunity to play with a US Blind Golf champion
• Entertaining on-course challenges
• A clinic, led by professional blind golfers, for novice golfers with vision loss
Enjoy the following evening festivities:
• Cocktails and dinner• Celebrity presenters• A silent auction with items like premium sports packages, exclusive vacation stays, tickets to Meet the Press, and the ultimate golf experience at Pinehurst Country Club• And the opportunity to win more prizes!

Event to Support Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind
Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind (CLB) is an engaged, community leader in the Washington metropolitan area serving people of all ages who are experiencing vision loss. Clients of CLB receive service, training and employment resources that support the whole person, at every level of independence and stage of life. Through vision screenings, a mobile eye care unit, independent living skills training, support groups for youth and adults, career counseling and job placement, CLB enables clients to reclaim personal and professional independence by learning to advocate for themselves and address the challenges that arise from vision loss. CLB is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to CLB are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. CLB's tax identification number is 530196609.
Since 1900, CLB has been dedicated to helping the blind or visually impaired population of the greater Washington region overcome the challenges of vision loss. CLB’s work enables people of all ages who are blind or visually impaired to remain independent, active and productive in society. CLB’s mission, through its many programs and services, is to create independence for people who are blind and visually impaired.
