2018 Habitat for Heroes Golf Tournament Hosted by Naval Academy Alumni Associ...

Habitat SHR is pleased to partner with the Hampton Roads NAAC to present the 5th Annual Habitat for Heroes Golf Tournament on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Sewell’s Point Golf Course in Norfolk, VA from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Rain date will be Oct 3, 2018

The tournament will help raise awareness and funding for the Habitat for Heroes program and allows sponsors, donors, and friends of Habitat to enjoy a day on the green!

Only $95 per golfer; includes cart/green fees, range balls, lunch, dinner by Mission BBQ, beer, prizes and more! Support us in our effort to provide affordable housing for veteran and active duty military families in South Hampton Roads.

It is an honor and a privilege for Habitat SHR to help create affordable housing solutions for Veteran and active-duty military families in our community.

To ensure the success of this initiative, Habitat SHR is actively seeking financial and in-kind resources for future Habitat for Heroes builds. It is our goal to continue to serve those who have served us.

Event to Support Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads

Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads (Habitat SHR) was founded in 1988. Dedicated to making affordable housing a matter of conscience and action, Habitat SHR completed its first home in 1990, in Portsmouth’s Prentis Park neighborhood. The organization has since afforded more than 200 families the opportunity to become homeowners.

Habitat home owners and their families experience a positive, wide-reaching, and permanent impact. Simply having a quiet place to do homework and a safe neighborhood in which to play greatly benefits children. The stability of homeownership is shown to be instrumental in building successful families, neighborhoods, and communities.
