Livvy Wilson

A Message From Livvy Wilson

My name is Livia Wilson but I'm best known as ”Livvy”! I am 4 years old. I love to swing & make music. I have been on the Little Light House waiting list for 2 years and my parents and I were so EXCITED when I was excepted. In only a few weeks I've already tried and experienced so many new things and I can't wait to see what else is in store for the rest of the year.

This is my first year at The Little Light House (LLH) and I am so excited to be able to attend. LLH is a Christian Developmental Center serving children like me with special needs. It was opened in 1972 and has always been tuition-free, it runs strictly from donations and does not receive any government funding or United Way funding. LLH provides state of the art service by highly trained professionals on staff including Special Education Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Vision Therapist, Speech Therapists & Assistive Technology Coordinators, and Nurses. While the school is tuition- free for families, the cost per child is about $30,000/ year.

I want to thank you so much for considering supporting me and my tuition!

Lots of Love, Livvy!

About This Campaign

Mini-Laps is a fundraising event that is led by the parents of our students. Our children attend the Little Light House and receive much needed therapy services on a tuition-free basis, and Mini-Laps is the time when parents raise money for their child's year at school. At the event, each child takes a lap around the Little Light House track as we celebrate the milestones that they have met at school.
