A Message From Mark Cannon

Thank you for taking a few minutes to read through some information about an organization that I am very proud to represent. As you may know, I have been a Big Brother w/ Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Mercer County for over 9 years now. Through that time, I have been lucky enough to have been paired with Kai who has been as influential and helpful in my growth as a person as I hope I have been for him. Last year, I was lucky enough to be asked to join the Board of Directors for this amazing organization. In my time on the Board, my respect for both BBBS and its staff has grown tremendously and I feel more thankful than ever to be part of it on a daily basis.

BBBS is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. The link below is an entertaining look at how mentorships can benefit all of us.

With this said, like every charitable organization, we need funding to continue our mission. My ask is that you consider taking the 2016 Car Raffle Challenge in support of BBBS. Only 1,499 will be sold and for every $100 donation, you get a chance to win a brand new 2016 BMW, Ford (F150 or Mustang), Harley, Lexus, or Mercedes. The drawing will be held at the Salt Creek Grille in Forrestal Village on September 28th at 8pm.

Please help in any way you can.

Thanks,
Mark
