A Message From Emma Tsodzai
Community to me personally means a sense of togetherness and belonging. In my language, community and togetherness is "Ubuntu". Being a new arrival to Vancouver, I have met absolutely amazing people with whom I am proud and happy to call, my community. Giving back to one's community is an integral part of embracing differences and helping each other. "Do your little bit of good where you are. Its those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world".
About This Campaign
YOU are invited to join us in raising funds to help kids, families and seniors in our community.
Whether you are pulling the plane or cheering from the sidelines, there are plenty of family-friendly activities to keep everyone entertained including a plane pull for kids (pre-registration not required) carnival games, car show and shine, face painting, food trucks, and more!
Your support is moving families from poverty to possibility; helping kids make the right choices so they can be all that they can be; and helping seniors stay independent and active by building stronger communities for all.
