About This Campaign
What is Build-A-Thon?
It's an awesome, one-of-a-kind fundraising and advocacy event that the Rutgers University Habitat for Humanity campus chapter holds each year. In the weeks leading up to the event, teams of 4-5 students race to raise as much money as possible for Habitat for Humanity, then on October 22nd, all of the teams will come together to build the craziest, most innovative shacks they can. But remember, the more your team fundraises, the more materials and supplies you receive to build!
To get started
- Click "PARTICIPATE" to join a team or create a new team by clicking "REGISTER"
- All teams that register on Giveffect before October 1st will have to fundraise a minimum of $150 before Build-A-Thon weekend.
- All teams that register on Giveffect after October 1st will have to fundraise a minimum of $200 Build-A-Thon weekend.
- One easy, efficient, and effective way to fundraise is canning! It takes place on George Street in downtown New Brunswick and is a great way to raise your team's funds for this great event!
