A Message From Jason Gordon
I finished University and stumbled from job to job, not entirely sure what I wanted to do with my life for a few months. A friend of mine mentioned Camp Winston and I decided throwing caution to the wind and applying to work at a camp for children with complex neurological disorders in Canada was an excellent idea. Having never worked with children, let alone children with such complex needs I was taking a risk, but it turned out to be the best risk I have ever taken. I spent my summer working with some of the most interesting, kind and dynamic individuals I have ever met and each day I learnt something new from the children at camp. The children that attend Camp Winston all deserve to have the same opportunities and new experiences that neuro - typical children have and thats where the Runraiser 2015 comes into the picture. Sending children to a camp that caters to such complex needs is expensive and every donation can help fund this, helping more kids to have the summer of a lifetime. Donate as little or as much as you like, every little helps and is highly appreciated!
