A Message From Brian Broadbent

Hello everyone. My name is Brian Broadbent and I am a student at West Texas A&M University. I have been an active member of the WT Wine to Water campus chapter for over a year now. I had the privilege of going to Peru this last March with Wine to Water where I helped repair wells during my Spring Break. It was a life changing experience getting to spend time working on a project that helped improve the quality of life for an entire village of people. When I got back from Peru, I promised myself I would go on another trip with Wine to Water because I know that this organization is a true force for good in this world. My heart has ached for Honduras ever since I discovered that nearly 1.5 Million of the 8 Million people that live there do not have access to clean drinking water. It is this ache in my heart that drives me to want to go on this trip. I cannot simply rest at ease while I know that people in Honduras have no choice but expose themselves to disease and possibly death every time they get thirsty. I know the problem is great and not entirely solvable by one trip, but I firmly believe that when you are given a chance to do even a little good for someone else it is your duty to take that chance. To let someone waste away when you had a chance to help would be a sin. So I turn to you, generous donors, to help ease my way towards paying for this trip. Know that when you donate for my cause, I will not forget your kindness and that kindness will motivate me to work as hard as I can while I am away on this trip. I do not intend to waste a second of my time when I arrive in Honduras, my mission will be to help however I possibly can. Your donation will help make all of this possible. By donating to me, you help put clean drinking water into the cups of those who need it most. Thank you!

About This Campaign

The Mosquito Coast is one of the most remote places on earth and is located on the northern coast of Honduras. La Mosquitia, Honduras, is one of our more rustic and adventurous location for volunteers to join our efforts to provide clean water. This could include: digging a well, repairing broken wells, teaching hygiene lessons, construction projects, etc. It's a great way to dive straight into the culture as you sleep in a hammock each night and learn first hand about the water projects and the reality of the water crisis.Dates for Individual Travelers:
