About This Campaign

As the semester is just about to wrap up, BORDERLESS is proud to present our upcoming fundraiser for the internally displaced persons in the Ukrainian conflict. Profs Got Talent! We have four University of Toronto professors on board who will battle it out to raise the most money for charity. The professor who raises the most money will be exempted from lip-syncing on the event day. It will take place on Monday, March 23rd from 12 to 1 pm at OISE C154. While the event is free, we will be accepting donations. The current conflict in Ukraine has resulted in the displacement of approximately 1,116,600 people. Unfortunately, this humanitarian crisis does not receive sufficient attention, and aid is much needed. As an end of the year event, we wish to raise funds that will be donated to UNHCR and allocated towards shelter and food for the people caught in the midst of the war. Through the support of Broadening Horizons this year we wish to raise $4000 which will be donated to UNHCR. We are fortunate to have four incredible professors on board to help us in our mission, including Dan Dolderman, Arnd Jurgensen, Arne Kislenko and Kyoungrok Ko. Donate generously to these professors, and remember the professor who raises the most money does not have to lip-sync, so choose wisely! Tax receipts will be issued by UNHCR upon confirmation of funds.
