My personal match is approaching our 10 year anniversary. Bayasa and I are still in touch and manage to squeeze in several visits a year when she's home from college. She's wrapping up her sophomore year at Indiana University as a international studies major. She still manages to be a top performing student, even while balancing a collegiate sport and sorority life. She was chosen to participate in a special program this past summer - teaching math and dance to middle school students in Vietnam. She's applying for a study abroad program this coming summer in South Africa. Her dedication, intellect, and work ethic are all very admirable qualities. But I'm most proud of the fact that she's a great friend and a genuinely nice and thoughtful person. This girl is going places and is going to make real change in the world!
