A Message From Ryan Curran
Each year Big Brothers Big Sisters of Monmouth & Middlesex Counties has many different fund raisers. I have recently joined the Development Committee. I ask that my friends, colleagues, and family consider donating to help support the organization. BBBS helps save hundreds of underprivileged youth each year. Each dollar will help train mentors to help children in our community.
If any of you are interested in volunteering please reach out to me as there are kids waiting to be matched in the organization.
BBBSMMC served 648 children in 2015 through 1:1 mentoring! This includes 396 children served through our 6 School Based Programs and 4 Beyond School Walls Programs. 19 Kids Club events were held with 592 attendees and 76 donated sporting and event tickets were enjoyed by Bigs & Littles.
In 2015, BBBSMMC hosted 5 special events supported by over 1,500 attendees. 693 volunteers logged an extraordinary 41,500 hours providing mentoring, organizing events, and serving as Board and committee members. 3.71 years is the average length of a Big-Little Match in our Community Based Program!
