Founded by performance poet, Tomy Bewick, in 2004 as a means to network his Poetry/Arts/Music/Fashion ambitions with people of like Mind/Heart/Spirit/Vision in and around the Greater Toronto Area: It is now a non-profit organization with 6 board members and room for expansion and aims for charitable status are in the works. The annual multi-media showcase ran for 7 years in Toronto, and has included independent fashion shows, live art, video turntablism, live hip hop and soul, poetry slams, open mic, dance performances and more. OMRE is also responsible for "Straight to the Streets"; an annual clothing drive for the less fortunate in and around downtown Toronto. Running for 10 years strong (as of this winter, 2015); this annual event always inspires and aims to reach as many people in need as possible, with warm clothing and compassionate care. Donations are accepted year long, with a heavy focus on warm clothing and funds to be used for health kits. OMRE's event's include: Slamtario, Inferno, HYWire, Burlington Slam Project OMRE is associated with: Youth Workers, Community Arts, Social Services We're always looking for: dedicated, driven, volunteers, organizers, artists and advocates Keep an open mind and remember to respect the event that is your life; one day at a time: making change, by being it.

2017 Toronto UNBREAKABLE 5k for Youth Mental Health

About This Event

Please join us for the inaugural Toronto Unbreakable Run for Youth Mental Health. Since the Team Unbreakable focus is on completion, the event is clock timed but not chip timed. For the same reason, all finisher’s receive a medal. As in every running community, we encourage all participants to do their very best while supporting and motivating all the other participants.

The $40 registration fee includes Event shirt (moisture wicking), Finishers medal and breakfast.

Where: Coronation Park 711 Lake Shore Blvd W, Toronto, ON

When: Sunday June 11th, 2017 Run starts at 9:00am, please arrive early!

Individual Event Kit pick up on race day between 7:30-8:30 in Coronation Park

Team Event Kits including shirts, bib numbers and swag will be delivered to school teams.

Parking: Paid parking available at Coronation Park and the surrounding area.
