Give to BBBSLA

About This Campaign

In 2017, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA) served more than 1800 kids through our five core mentoring programs.

In 2018, we hope to break that record again and impact over 2,000 kids, but we cannot do that without your help!

 With over 200 kids on the waitlist - the overwhelming majority being young boys of color - we need your financial support now more than ever to support and build our capacity to:

    1. Recruit 200+ Male Mentors;
    2. Match Every Child currently on our Wait List with a Big Brother or Big Sister, and;
    3. Support each of those new matches through ongoing professional case management provided by our staff!

We know that you are proud to stand alongside us and truly believe in our mission to provide one-to-one mentoring relationships for children facing adversity because of the outcomes we have achieved with our kids.

The average cost to recruit a mentor/child, make a match, and support that new match in its first year is $1,000 - $1,500.

Meeting this goal will ensure our ability to give the gift of a mentor to so many of our kids this year.
