Business Development Associate

Giveffect is a tech company in San Francisco, but what we do ultimately support nonprofit organizations. We need someone who cares about the problems and concerns of each and every one of our clients' employees. We also seek someone who is excited to innovate an archaic industry, while thoroughly enjoying happy hours, office pets, and witty banter.

At three years old, Giveffect has transformed the nonprofit space. By taking the place of a traditional legacy nonprofit systems, we are able to offer a premier nonprofit solution to our end users. Our all encompassing SaaS solution manages every competency under the nonprofit umbrella -- online giving, offline gift tracking, events management, fundraising management (includes peer-to-peer, team fundraisers, crowdfunding), volunteer scheduling and management, constituent relationship management database.

As a Business Development Associate you'll be working alongside a lean team of sales reps who've changed the landscape of the nonprofit industry!

Requirements:

  • Develop and manage relationships within the nonprofit space.
  • Create and manage outbound emails, cold-calls and prospecting campaigns.
  • Own the entire sales cycle from prospect to close in a high velocity environment.
  • Run demos like a pro for nonprofit Development Directors, Executive Directors, CEO’s.
  • Work closely with our Inbound SDR’s, Implementation teams to deliver the most comprehensive nonprofit system on the market today.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Research quality leads for market expansion.
  • Provide exceptional customer support.
  • Quota carrying inside sales experience.

You are:

  • Experienced in closing new business in a transactional sales cycle.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Great interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of energy, confidence, tenacity and adaptability with a desire to learn.
  • Great team player!

  • Previous sales methodology training.

Client Success Manager

Requirements:

  • Reach out to nonprofit organizations and educate them on how Giveffect is revolutionizing the world of nonprofit tech industry.
  • Run demonstrations on a screen sharing software.
  • Be a strong advocate of the product, and manage client relations with nonprofit organizations.
  • Helping nonprofits improve their nonprofit workflow by adopting best-in-class technology.
  • Delivering best practices for nonprofit operations within different verticals and environments, based on specific client use cases, industry standards, and an understanding of emerging tools.
  • Developing relationships with development directors, marketing teams and volunteer teams in the nonprofit space.
  • Contributing to the growth and adoption of Giveffect across our customer base.

You are:

  • Excited to speak with nonprofit organizations and learn more about their programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding startup.
  • Unparalleled interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cold-calling experience in an outbound sales environment. If not, you're excited to learn!
  • Completed a Bachelor's degree or have demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Detail oriented and a master of time management
